We believe that partner involvement is a key component to a successful search experience. Each search is led by one (and in some cases two) of our partners, each of whom brings extensive experience in all phases of the planning and execution of senior-level search projects. We take pride in maintaining hands-on partner management and involvement throughout the entire search project while our clients benefit from ongoing partner attention and availability.

We understand the importance of establishing a trusting relationship with our clients, so from the outset we spend a significant amount of time getting to know their organization. We establish a solid understanding of our clients’ organizational needs, specific business experience, and expectations for the executives we seek to recruit. We recognize that the failure of a candidate post-hire is generally not due to a lack of background or experience, but rather their cultural fit within an organization. We take the time to fully understand each organization’s unique corporate landscape.
Selective Workloads
By being more selective with the projects we take on, we further ensure the success of each search. Our dedicated team of recruiting consultants and researchers are able to put more focus on each individual project by not being bogged down with too much on their plates. We understand that recruiting the best candidates requires persistence so our consultants’ workloads are light enough to enable them to call top candidates as often as it takes to get them to engage. Only accepting searches that align with our capabilities and limiting our clientele allows Discovery Search Partners better coverage of markets we serve and leaves us with few off-limits restrictions. By consciously and strategically aligning ourselves with a select group of industry leaders and developing valuable, long-term business partnerships, we are able to penetrate deeper into the market with candidate identification and recruitment efforts than other firms with a client list a mile wide and an inch deep.
In-Depth Candidate Development & Assessment
After a thorough evaluation of the position and candidate requirements, we engage our world-class research team, comprehensive database, and industry access to develop a list of the top qualified potential candidates. Our experienced team of recruiting consultants understand what it takes to engage with those top-level candidates who are not actively seeking new opportunities. Potential candidates are then extensively evaluated through a series of personal interviews from which we generate in-depth reports on the candidate’s qualifications, growth potential, leadership style, and organizational fit. We provide our analysis of the prospective candidate to our client well in advance of scheduling interviews. Frequently, we are able to present finalist candidates within the first few weeks of a search due in large part to our state-of-the-art research capabilities.
Seamless Integration
Discovery Search Partners assists our clients in managing the interview process by providing valuable feedback from the candidates regarding their level of interest and their expectations for the position. Once a finalist has been selected, we remain involved with both our client and the candidate in order to facilitate the development and negotiation of an offer of employment and successful completion of referencing.
